The chair of Hydrogeomechanics (Prof. Rebecca Harrington) at the Institute of Geology, Mineralogy & Geophysics at the Ruhr University Bochum invites applications for a Postdoctoral Researcher (m/f/d)(akademischer Mitarbeiter - m/w/d), TV-L-13, with a weekly working time of 39,83 hours/week. The earliest term of appointment will be from March 1st 2020 and the position will run until March 31.03.2021, and will function as a leave of absence replacement within the Hydrogeomechanics working group, as well as assist with teaching duties.
The salary is commensurate with experience, and based on the German E-13 TV-L scale. The postdoctoral researcher (m/f/d) is encourage to develop and carry out their own research projects, publish in international peer-reviewed journals, contribute to teaching as well as to student supervision and examination, and contribute to the intellectual life of the Hydrogeomechanics group.
